Layla T. Nguyen

As a Senior Associate at SRipLaw in Boca Raton, Florida, I am committed to protecting the intellectual property of creators, entrepreneurs, and businesses. My practice focuses on helping clients resolve complex legal issues, safeguard their rights, and build their brands in an ever-evolving marketplace. 

I am also deeply dedicated to the growth and strengthening of SRipLaw’s legal practice and legal team. I strive to uphold the highest standards for internal processes, ensuring that our firm consistently delivers exceptional service to our clients. In addition, as a Senior Associate, I provide support and mentorship to our associate attorneys as they develop their practice.  

I graduated from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2020 with a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law. My passion for intellectual property began during law school, where I gained valuable experience through internships with Magistrate Judge Barry Seltzer at the Southern District of Florida, civil litigation law firms, and in-house counsel at an international architecture firm. 

In the development of my intellectual property practice, I have cultivated a strong interest in patents, leading me to take on a leadership role in managing patent cases at the firm. This focus complements my dedication to delivering invaluable service to the clients whose cases I handle or are assigned to me. 

Prior to joining SRipLaw, I practiced intellectual property litigation at a firm in Miami, further honing my skills in protecting and enforcing clients’ rights. I am admitted to practice law in Florida and in numerous federal courts, including the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida; the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals; the Western, Southern, and Eastern Districts of Texas; the District of Colorado; and the Court of Federal Claims. 

Fluent in conversational Vietnamese, I bring a global perspective and cultural understanding to my work. Outside of the office, I enjoy traveling, cooking, practicing yoga, and exploring TikTok for a good laugh.
