Juan Sebastián Martinez

As a Copyright Client Services Liaison and Colombian Lawyer at SRipLaw in Cali, Colombia, my role involves negotiating copyright infringement cases in the United States, providing support in case management, and assisting Colombian creatives with advisory and representation in all areas of intellectual property. My work focuses on protecting creators, enforcing intellectual property rights, and helping clients navigate complex legal and business challenges in the creative industry. I earned my law degree from Universidad Libre de Colombia. My legal background has provided me with a strong foundation in intellectual property, corporate law, and dispute resolution, allowing me to approach each matter with both legal precision and practical business insight. 

Before joining SRipLaw, I gained valuable experience in Business and Corporate Law, where I developed a deep understanding of the challenges businesses and entrepreneurs face in highly competitive markets. This experience strengthened my ability to analyze complex legal issues, negotiate effectively, and develop tailored solutions aligned with clients’ strategic goals. Fluent in both Spanish and English, I am passionate about innovation, philosophy, business, and the intersection between creativity and law. My interests also include exercise, meditation, art, and human psychology, which inspire me to approach challenges with discipline, creativity, and empathy.
