As a Paralegal at SRipLaw, I provide essential support in managing the firm’s intellectual property cases, working closely with our legal team to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Operating remotely from Asheville, North Carolina, I am dedicated to SRipLaw's mission of empowering inventors, creators, and entrepreneurs to protect their passions and achieve success.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Old Dominion University, earned in 2011. My legal career began at the Norfolk Commonwealth Attorney’s Office in Virginia, where I worked as a legal assistant. In 2015, I graduated with a Master of Arts in Criminology and Public Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. After a few years working in the field, I returned to the legal sector, discovering my passion for paralegal work.
In 2023, I earned a Paralegal Certificate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and became a North Carolina State Bar Certified Paralegal. Since joining SRipLaw, I have developed a profound appreciation for the creativity and ingenuity of artists, photographers, and inventors, which inspires my commitment to our clients and their intellectual property.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, attempting escape rooms, and crafting.
