About Me

As a Senior Associate at SRipLaw in Miami, Florida, I am dedicated to protecting the intellectual property rights of creators, innovators, and businesses.

Since joining SRipLaw in 2021, I have represented Plaintiffs of all sizes in copyright, trademark, and patent matters. With the support of an outstanding team, I have led large-scale infringement lawsuits against thousands of foreign counterfeiters in U.S. Federal Courts and pursued claims on behalf of independent artists and small businesses in the U.S. and abroad. My work has helped clients recover tens of millions of dollars in damages and, in many cases, regain the ability to continue their creative work. Additionally, as a Senior Associate, I provide support and mentorship to our associate attorneys as they develop their practice.

My journey into intellectual property law began with my early career as a professional musician in South Florida and a translator for Spanish-language broadcast television. These experiences gave me a firsthand understanding of the value of intellectual property rights and their critical role in protecting artistic livelihoods. Today, I am privileged to advocate for those creators and help safeguard their innovations and artistry.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences with a Certificate in Translation and Interpretation Studies from Florida International University, earned in 2008. In 2021, I graduated summa cum laude from St. Thomas University College of Law with a Certificate in Intellectual Property Studies. During my time in law school, I earned numerous academic awards and published articles on trademarks, cyber insurance, and facial recognition technology in leading law journals.

Before joining SRipLaw, I interned for Chief Judge Barbara M.G. Lynn at the Northern District of Texas in Dallas and gained experience working at boutique intellectual property and commercial litigation firms in South Florida. I am admitted to the Florida Bar and practice in multiple U.S. District Courts across the country.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, I am passionate about helping creators protect their rights and educating others on the transformative power of intellectual property. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling with my husband and savoring a bold glass of red wine.
