Steve Warshak, former CEO of embattled Berkley Nutraceuticals was finally indicted last week. The indictment is so large it had to be split up into separate PDF files in order to fit on the court e-filing system.
The indictment brings criminal mail, wire and bank fraud charges against Warshak and several other conspirators at Berkley including Warshak's sister, mother and brother-in-law. The indictment tracks the same facts we previously discussed in this blog in connection with the FTC complaint against Berkley. You will recall, Berkley promoted the “natural male enhancement” supplement Enzyte using the character "Smiling Bob." Where have you gone, Bob?
