Jamie C. James

As the Lead Paralegal at SRipLaw in Boca Raton, Florida, I bring over 25 years of experience in the legal field to support the firm’s intellectual property litigation practice. My role encompasses not only leading the team of paralegals but also overseeing the onboarding and training of new team members, ensuring they are well-prepared to contribute to the firm’s mission. I also coordinate paralegal assignments, ensuring that our attorneys always have dedicated paralegal support to meet their needs efficiently. 

I began my legal career in 1997 as a receptionist at a small law firm in Breckenridge, Colorado. Through hard work, dedication, and a desire to continually learn, I advanced my career, eventually joining SRipLaw in 2015. Over the years, I’ve discovered that intellectual property litigation perfectly combines my artistic and logical nature, fulfilling me both professionally and personally. 

Before joining SRipLaw, I spent 18 years working with litigation law firms, gaining invaluable experience in managing complex legal cases. My time at SRipLaw has solidified my passion for intellectual property law, and I am proud to have found my “forever career” within the firm. 

Fluent in English, I am inspired by the inventors and creators we protect. My artistic passions include photography, drawing, and painting, which complement my professional dedication to fostering creativity. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, gardening, cross-stitching, exploring new places, and reading. I also love rescuing vintage treasures from thrift stores, giving them a second life.
